... are most often seen at commercial and industrial properties. Slide gates are recommended for high traffic areas such as apartment complexes or in cases where space is limited in some way.
Generally, there are 2 types
of sliding gates:

The rolling gate rolls along a v-track that is anchored to a concrete surface below and is typically found in the southern United States. This design requires a level surface in order for the gate to perform correctly.

• Rolling Gate

Cantilever gates operate much like the rolling gate but do not require a solid, level surface. These gates function by rolling on gate rollers that are attached to posts that support the gate. Cantilever gates use a counter-balance load bearing design to support the entire weight of the gate as it reaches across the entryway.
